Connections & integrations

Home Assistant

Not connected

Local automation engine at the property. Required for real device control.

Setup instructions
  1. Install Home Assistant on a small computer at the property (e.g. Home Assistant Green).
  2. Add your lights, plugs and sensors inside Home Assistant.
  3. Create a long-lived access token — it will be stored only on the secure server, never in this app.
  4. Configure secure remote access (see Remote access) so the server can reach it.

AOSU cameras

External system · direct integration unverified

Cameras run through the AOSU HomeBase and AOSU app. No documented open API is used.

Setup instructions
  1. Keep using the AOSU app for live viewing for now.
  2. Check whether your AOSU models support ONVIF or RTSP.
  3. If supported, add them to Home Assistant; streams will then be relayed by the secure server.

Smart devices

  1. Pair devices with Home Assistant.
  2. Link each device record to its Home Assistant entity ID.

Remote access

Secure, authenticated TLS connection from the cloud to the property.

Setup instructions
  1. Choose a secure tunnel (e.g. Home Assistant Cloud or a self-hosted TLS tunnel).
  2. Verify the connection uses HTTPS and authentication.
  3. Register the endpoint on the server side only.
